The SRV-1 Dedicated Roon Server

For years we have been using our own Roon server at our factory listening room as well as all the shows we have attended since. What started out as an internal project is now, by numerus requests, being put into production. The SRV-1 is a dedicated Roon music server with focus on sound quality, reliability, flexibility and aesthetics - it might just be the coolest Roon server out there.

Computing Power

Utilizing cutting edge processor technology, together with Roon's lightweight operating system guarantees a lightning fast response to any user action, ability to manage huge music libraries with ease, stream to countless endpoints all around your house, and still have power to spare for even the most complex DSP available within Roon.

Passive Cooling

The SRV-1 is completely fanless, free of any moving parts and therefore completely silent. The processor cooling is managed by the massive chassis made from aluminum and ensures more than adequate capacity for the powerful electronics inside - running silent for years to come.

Massive Power Supply

What really makes the SRV-1 stand out from the server crowd is the massive, heavy duty power supply. Stability and reliability are the key words in this power supply.

Internal Drive Bay

The SRV-1 comes with a built-in 1TB SSD drive, but it offers both the option of using external USB drives and more permanent, internal drives. But what is even cooler, is the easy to slide out wood cover, revealing a cradle for two additional internal drives, nicely hidden and protected inside of the SRV-1's elegant body.

Bespoke Cover

As standard we offer top covers in high gloss black, white and real walnut veneer to match the finish of our loudspeakers. But what if you prefer to have your SRV-1 match another brand of speakers or a piece of furniture or the color of your Lamborghini? Gato Audio offer to make bespoke top covers for you.
