Full-Range Impact with Rear Passive Radiators

Instead of using a traditional bass reflex port, the CLC65 employs two rear-facing 10-inch passive radiators. This approach eliminates port noise and reduces sensitivity to room placement, while allowing deep and controlled bass extension. The design ensures tight transient response and keeps low frequencies clean, even at higher volumes.

Silky-Smooth Treble

At the top end, a high-resolution 33 mm Purifi tweeter delivers extended, transparent treble with astonishing low distortion. Its finely tuned waveguide optimizes dispersion and timing, ensuring a spacious and coherent soundstage. The result is high-frequency reproduction that remains fatigue-free, natural, and incredibly detailed - even during long listening sessions.

Articulate and Open Midrange

The dedicated Purifi midrange driver plays a critical role in the CLC65's clarity. With a linear motor system, light weight short voice coil, and ultra-low distortion design, it reproduces voices and instruments with breathtaking realism. Its fast response and high sensitivity preserve microdynamics and detail, making the midband vivid and lifelike - from whispered vocals to full orchestral climaxes.

Bass You Can Feel - Without Boom

Low frequencies are handled by a high-excursion Purifi 10-inch woofer designed to deliver power, speed, and depth. Thanks to its low distortion and long linear stroke, the bass stays tight and tuneful even at room-filling levels. Combined with the passive radiators, the woofer gives the CLC65 a full, authoritative bottom end - without overhang or resonances.

Every element of the CLC65 reflects its reference-level ambitions - right down to the binding posts. We've chosen WBT Nextgen pure copper terminals for their excellent conductivity, mechanical stability, and refined aesthetics. They ensure a secure, low-resistance connection to your system and preserve signal integrity at every level.

Crossover Craftsmanship

The CLC65 features a carefully engineered crossover using only premium components - including air-core inductors, ClarityCap ESA capacitors, and pure copper foil bypass caps in critical positions. A Jantzen low-resistance C-core inductor handles the bass with precision and authority. The design is fundamentally second-order, with crossover points at 250 Hz and 2 kHz, optimized for excellent off-axis performance that, together with the tweeter's large waveguide, ensures wide dispersion and consistent sound in real world listening rooms.
